ICAI Test Paper Scheme (CA Final & CA IPCC Exams)

The Board of Studies has decided to introduce eligibility Test Paper scheme for fostering the habit of regular study and writing skills in examination conditions to help students to perform well for their examinations.

The Test Paper Scheme would be initially made applicable to Final Course students appearing in the examination for the first time, to begin with.

As a part of this scheme such Final Course Students would be required to take one test each for two Papers as may be notified in each Group of Final Course, to be eligible to appear for Final Exam proposed from Nov-17 attempt and a later attempt as may be notified. The broad modalities for this scheme are under finalisation.

Test Paper Scheme Notification Explained in Simple Words

Starting this Nov 2017 attempt, CA Final students appearing for the exam for the first time, need to take Test Paper exam to be conducted by the ICAI, in order to be eligible for the exam.

The Exam will be for two papers in each group. What are these two papers will be decided later.For example, ICAI might select FR and Law from 1st Group for the Test Exam.

This is like a practice test and there no accouncement if there will be any Pass/Fail Marks. . As already mentioned, students need not worry for now because, this will not be applicable for May 2017 Exam.

Test Paper Scheme for CA IPCC Students

As of now, this Test Paper Scheme will be applicable only for CA Final Students. For CA IPCC Students, this might likely be applicable from 2018.
