Courses Offered:

On the basis of SET, admission into BBA LLB, BA LLB, B.Des, BBA, BCA, BA, B.Sc Economics (Hons.), B.Sc Liberal Arts, B.Tech, B.Sc Nursing, B.SC MT programmes is provided.

Through Symbiosis Entrance Test, the admission to the above courses will be done at the following undergraduate institutions of Symbiosis International University:

SET Application Form 2018

Get the information about SET application form 2018 from here:

  1. Availability of SET 2018 application form will be through online mode.
  2. The online registration will start from second week of February 2018.
  3. The registration will last till the second week of April 2018.
  4. Candidate can register either for one paper or for two papers, one in the morning session and another in afternoon sessions.
  5. Enter all the required details carefully in the application form.
  6. Before making the payment, read all the instructions carefully.
  7. Upload your scanned latest photograph.
  8. It is also necessary for the candidates to apply for the preferred institute for desired programme and complete the payment process for institutions before the last date.

SET Syllabus 2018

SET 2018 Syllabus Application Form Exam Date Cut Off

SET syllabus is different for different papers. The syllabus for engineering and health sciences papers is generally consists of 12th class.

Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for different undergraduate courses offered by SIU affiliated colleges is as follows:

Courses Qualification Eligibility
  • Passed 12th examination or diploma in engineering/technology with minimum 50% marks (45% marks for SC/ST category candidates).
  • Passed 12th examination in any stream with minimum 45% marks (40% for SC/ST candidates).
  • Candidates who have appeared the qualifying examination and results are awaiting are also eligible to apply. Such candidates are required to submit the passing certificate at the time of admission.
  • Candidates must have passed 12th from a recognized board with minimum 50% marks (45% marks for SC/ST candidates).
B.Sc (Liberal Arts)
  • 10+2 pass from any branch with minimum 50% marks (45% marks for SC/ST).
  • Foreign  Nationals  (FN),  Persons  of  Indian  Origin  (PIO)  &  NRIs  must  apply  through  the  Symbiosis Center for International Education (SCIE).
  • NRI candidates appearing final 12th examination in India are also eligible to apply.
  • Passed 10+2 with Physics, Mathematics as a compulsory subjects with any one of the Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Technical vocational subject.
  • Attained at least 45% marks (40% in case of SC/ST) in the above subjects.
B.Sc. Economics (Hons.)
  • 12th passed in any branch with minimum 50% marks for general category and 45% marks for SC/ST category candidates.
  • Candidates must have passed 10+2 (any stream; eg. Science, Commerce, Arts, etc.) or equivalent Or 10+3 diploma with minimum 50% marks in aggregate.
  • Final year appearing candidates are also eligible to apply.

SET Exam Pattern 2018

The common written test of SET 2018 will be conducted in the first week of May 2018 tentatively. The paper pattern of Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET) 2018 is given below:

  1. Papers: SET is conducted for total of 5 papers viz Law, Design, General, Engineering and Health Sciences.
  2. Number of Questions: Law, Design and General papers contain 150 questions while there are 200 questions in engineering and health sciences papers.
  3. Exam Mode: The exam mode will be offline mode (pen and paper based test).
  4. Duration: The exam has duration of 150 minutes.
  5. Sessions: It is conducted in two sessions: morning and afternoon session. Candidate can choose paper for morning session from Law or Design and for afternoon session from Engineering, General & Health Sciences.
  6. Question Paper Type: The question paper is objective in nature.
  7. Negative Marking: No provision of negative marking in SET.

SET Cut-Off 2018

Each institute will release its own cut-off marks . on the basis of SET Cut-off 2018, students will be shortlisted for the further selection processes. The cut-off marks will be different for different categories.

Admit Cards for SET 2018 will be made available online four weeks before the exam. Candidates have to enter their Registration Number to download the SET 2018 Admit Card.
